July 2019

It's no secret that I love to ski. Every year, I make it a point to ski every single month of the year. As summer continues on, finding skiable snow becomes more and more of a challenge. But alas, I make it happen. This summer was an unusually warm summer here in Alaska, which meant my normal go-to places didn't have snow anymore. So to get my July ski in, I trucked my skis up 8 miles of terrain with practically no snow on the ground...hoping for something amazing at the top. I lucked out, and my hard work (and very sore back) made it worth it. Raven Glacier had TONS of snow, and my dog and I ended up skiing several runs together, all while my best friends whooped and hollered and cheered me on.
